Sarah Luecke studied at UW-Stout earning her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. Sarah had the unique opportunity during the turmoil of Covid 19, to help clients through online teletherapy, and continued doing so through the entirety of her internship. This experience validated her belief that teletherapy is as effective as in-person therapy in providing clients the support and help that they need.

In addition to her experience as a therapist, Sarah has 10 years of experience in funeral services and has gained personal insight into grief and loss. She understands that each person’s experience is unique, and she is sensitive to and supportive of her client’s needs as they take their first steps in healing. She has worked with families, couples, and individuals of all ages and from a variety of cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Sarah believes that our problems are not ours alone, but that they stem from our relationships with the people in our lives and our surrounding environment. When individuals seek therapy, it is important to explore and reflect on the relationships and how they influence and shape our behaviors.

Through her own life experiences, Sarah understands the effects that trauma and struggle have on an individual as well as the hope that therapy can bring when a person reaches out for help. She works hard to understand her clients’ perspectives and to get to know them, building a safe therapeutic environment and trusting relationship as the foundation for the healing process. She believes that change is a form of growth and healing that is possible for anyone and everyone who is open to the idea. For Sarah, there is no topic or personal experience too difficult to discuss.
